TCS presents its finale for its 11th season, Flight Paths, featuring Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances. Rebecca Steinberg and Sara Sherman duo on Shostakovich’s Concerto for Piano and Trumpet on Sunday’s performance. TCS composer Seth Bedford’s world premiere of Ms. Rubinstein’s Beauty, based on the children’s book by illustrator Pep Montserrat, opens the concert. Guest conductor Nell Flanders joins TCS to lead the orchestra on the Bedford and Vocalise.

TCS’s eleventh season “Flight Paths” features music written by composers who have visited or immigrated to the United States of America. This season celebrates the diversity of musicians who have been inspired by, and made their mark on, this land we call home.
