Madison Avenue Baptist Church is excited to present the grand finale of its 2023 Madison Sounds concert series: the Christmas Gala. This special event, scheduled for December 15th at 7:30 PM, will showcase a diverse and talented array of musicians.

Featured artists include the celebrated Turkish-American classical guitarist Celil Kaya, coordinator of the guitar department at New Jersey University; renowned cellist Sam DiCaprio; and pianists Ariela Bohrod and Aza Sydykov.

The event will also spotlight the talents of MABC’s Choir, comprising world-class and versatile vocalists such as soprano Jenny Lindsey, mezzo-soprano Karen Rich, alto Alex De Suze, tenor Richard Binder, baritone Brian Long, and bass Doug Shapiro. Joining them will be guest singers sopranos Clara Lisle and Kristina Shafranski, mezzo-soprano Stephanie Feigenbaum, tenors Frederick Schlik and Andres Penalver, and baritone Robert Garner.

This festive evening’s program includes an eclectic mix of works, featuring Poulenc’s ‘Gloria’ and instrumental masterpieces by Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Liszt, and other eminent composers. The Christmas Gala is set to be an enchanting celebration of music and the holiday spirit.
