Ji Eun Park at NYU Steinhardt School, Brooklyn (Site)

American Korean pianist, Ji Eun Park is based in New York as an active soloist, chamber musician, and lecturer. She commands a spectral repertoire focusing on pioneers of German School such as Beethoven, Brahms, and Schumann. An activist in 21st century music, she represents works by minimalist composers such as John Adam and Arvo Pärt. She has concertized internationally in venues, including Lincoln Center, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, and PyeongChang Hall. A top prize winner of United States Virtuoso International Piano Competition, she has given recitals in North America, Europe, and Asia. She has closely worked with Bernd Goetzke and Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń whom she received much of her musical inspirations. She has taken parts in festivals including PianoTexas, MusicFest in Perugia, and International Piano Academy in Chopin’s Homeland.

She has been featured as a soloist with Ashdod Symphony Orchestra in Italy performing the Schumann Piano Concerto in A minor, with Lublin Philharmonic in Poland performing Chopin Piano Concerto in F minor, and with The Imperial Symphony Orchestra performing Ravel Piano Concerto in G major. She holds degrees from Cleveland Institute of Music and New York University under a tutelage of pianists, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, and Alexander Kobrin.

She is currently an adjunct faculty member of the Piano Department within the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University.
