Canadian-born Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi is a critically acclaimed pianist whose playing has been lauded as “brilliant” (New Music Connoisseur), “persuasive” (Sequenza21), and “beautiful” (American Record Guide). As a champion of new music, she has both commissioned and premiered many new solo and collaborative works – music that has been featured on live radio broadcasts and released by Albany, Innova, and Ravello record labels. Her latest album PIANO SONORITIES: Music by Betty Wishart, was released by Ravello Records in 2016.

The recipient of numerous performance and research awards and grants, Astolfi also frequently serves as a piano clinician, coach, and master class instructor. She serves on the board of PianoArts, is a founding member of duoARtia, and is currently Artist- in-Residence at Piedmont College.

Since Betty Wishart first began composing while studying with Richard Bunger, her music has been performed in Europe, Russia, South Korea, and throughout the United States at diverse venues including Academia Filarmonica di Bologna, Carmichael Hall, International Composers Symposiums, Seoul National University, conferences of the Society of Composers, Inc., National Association of Composers, USA and the Christian Fellowship of Art Music Composers. Classical Nowhere described her recent album PIANO SONORITIES as “an utterly beguiling collection of piano music”.

A member of ASCAP, Wishart has received awards from American Pen Women, American College of Musicians, Composers Guild, and has been Composer in Residence at Weymouth Center for the Arts. Her music has been released on Ravello, Navona, and Sarton Record labels.
