Edith Lettner (saxophones & duduk) and Jed Distler (piano) both come from eclectic musical backgrounds and both bring to their performances an immense wealth of experience and musical savvy. The duo’s tight, energetic interplay delivers an always engaging, ever-surprising mix of improvised musical offerings. As a special feature of this evening’s program, they will include music of Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, played in their own imaginative, interpretive style. Not to be missed.
