Enjoy a free recital by bass-baritone Joseph Parrish, winner of the 2022 YCA Susan Wadsworth International Auditions. In addition to selections by quintessential European composers such as Schubert, Liszt, G. Mahler, and Debussy, the program features works by a broad array of American composers spanning art song, jazz, the Great American Songbook, and more, including Gillespie, Porter, Kern, and Lerner and Loewe. On piano is the highly versatile performer, composer-arranger, collaborator, and esteemed teacher JoyAnne Amani.
