Gene Pritsker’s The Meeting, with a story and libretto by Roger Aplon, looks into the lives of two old friends reuniting in a café. As they discuss their past together, a ghostly presence reminds them of the ups and downs of their friendship.

A Little Ribbon Helps Tie Things Together is a short comic opera by Milica Paranosic and Mia Chung about love, weddings, and infidelity.

Alon Nechushtan’s Dear Midnight of Love looks with humor at hapless realities of the Covid-19 era, as Joey, an aging Chicago gangster, is sucked into the world of online dating.

Additionally, the event will feature intermezzi by composer Dan Cooper. Performers will include Adriana Valdés – soprano, Kevin Courtemanche – tenor, Charles Coleman – baritone, Peter Hess – clarinet, Molly Aronson – cello, and Jai Jeffryes – piano.
