Project 23.6° N, named after Taiwan’s geographical coordinates, is a captivating chamber ensemble committed to showcasing the rich musical heritage of Taiwan. Comprising three accomplished doctoral music students from SUNY Stony Brook, the ensemble presents an enchanting afternoon of Taiwanese folk music.

Meet the Musicians:

Calvin Hu (Piano): Ackerman Award recipient and invited performer alongside NYC’s top music school faculty.

Pin-hui Tsai (Cello): Worked closely with the esteemed Emerson Quartet and received a fellowship at the Round Top Orchestra Institute.

KaiChen Cheng (Flute): Recent finalist in the American Prize and Outreach Program Artist at Stony Brook University’s Department of Music.
