Pierre-Laurent Aimard, one of the leading interpreters of 20th- and 21st-century music, is joined by jazz pianist Joachim Kühn for an unfettered session of spontaneous jazz-inflected improvisation and inventive musical dialogue, using Ligeti’s Études and Musica ricercata as their musical foundation.

Aimard reprises the Études and performs Ligeti’s Piano Concerto in upcoming concerts this season as part of our celebration of the composer’s centennial.
