An intellectual itinerary in music – voice and piano duet – to feel the beauty of the “Opera Arias from the Greatest Era”and the use of the voice in its power and passion.
Verdi, Puccini, Richard Strauss are some of the composers selected from the elegant voice and piano duet.
Mrs. Ameti and Maestro Miceli will play elegant arias and masterpieces from the 1800-900 operatic repertoire in an extraordinary Voice and Piano Duet version.
During the beautiful musical evening Stefano Miceli will friendly talk about creative and emotional approaches to the repertoire and will invite the audience to interact and comprehend the background meaning behind the operatic works.
Deshira Ameti, Soprano
Mrs. Ameti has been successfully performing since 1998. In 2005 Mrs.Ameti debuted in the role of Michaela in the opera Carmen by J. Bizet, followed by the role of Pamina in the opera “The Magic Flute” by W. A. Mozart. In 2008, she sang the role of Nedda in the opera “Pagliacci” by R. Leoncavallo, Santuzza from the opera “Cavaleria rusticana” by P. Mascani, Liu in “Turando” by Puccini, Leonora in “La Forza del Destino ” by Verdi, Antonia from the opera “Hoffmann’s Tales” by J. Offenbach, Donna Anna in “Don Giovanni” .
Mrs. Ameti has earned brilliant success at international performances and concerts at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, and in Hamburg and Berlin.
Mrs. Ameti is one of the most appreciated resident artists of the Northen Macedonian Opera House.
Stefano Miceli, Piano
Maestro Miceli is one of the foremost italian conductors and pianists around the world. He has earned the applause of audiences at Berliner Philharmonie, Sydney Opera House, Leipzig Gewandhaus, La Fenice Opera in Venice, Beijing Forbidden City Concert Hall, and Carnegie Hall.
Maestro Miceli has been the Principal Guest Conductor at the Leipzig Philharmonic and at Cameristi della Fenice in Venice, and the Music Director of the Orchestra Sinfonica Italiana. Former Chairman of the Nuovo Teatro Verdi Foundation and founder and Music Director of the Nuovo Teatro Verdi Philharmonic in Brindisi, Maestro Miceli is currently the President and the Artistic Director of the Milano Metropolitan Orchestra, Music Director of the New York State Symphony Orchestra, Music Director of the Adelphi Symphony Orchestra and founder of the “Music & Conversations Concert Series“
Maestro Miceli is a for Appia Records USA and Steinway Spirio Recording Artist. In 2011 Stefano Miceli has been appointed Steinway Artist in Hamburg, Germany.
