Pianist Chelsea Randall, founder of the American Mavericks Project (AMP) dedicated to piano music by Black American composers, presents a lecture/recital spotlighting works by some of today’s most exciting contemporary Black composers, including Shawn Opkebholo, Krystal Flagstad, Joyce Solomon Moorman, Nkeiru Okoye, AMP’s 2024 Call for Scores winners Jeremiah Evans and Lawren Brianna Ware and Bloomingdale School of Music’s A4TY alum Yuri Butler.
