Two leading ensembles join forces: the “eloquent, enthralling” Horszowski Trio (New York Times) and the Grammy-nominated Ying Quartet (“as close to the ideal as possible”, Los Angeles Times). Their tour-de-force program of large-scale chamber music includes French composer Ernest Chausson’s lush, romantic Concerto for Piano and String Quartet, modern master Ellen Taaffe Zwilich’s virtuosic Septet, as well as works by Dvořák and Elliott Carter.
