Winner of the 2022 Federation of the Art Song Fellowship Competition, the London-based voice/piano duo of Jared Michaud and Christina Koti will perform a recital of art songs influenced by Greek traditions and culture by Greek and non-Greek composers alike. With songs in Greek, French, German, Russian, and English by composers such as Schubert, Ravel, Berkeley, Constantinides, and Hadjidakis, this recital offers a fascinating and complex narrative about the age-old duality of East and West on top of a diverse and entertaining program sure to whet the palate of all musical tastes.
