Drama and reflection. Farrenc’s passionate and virtuosic Sextet is subdued by Pärt’s reflective meditation on Mozart’s G minor piano sonata, K. 280, while Dvořák’s Schuman-inspired Piano Quartet in D brings both together with grace and balance.
