Three Pianists in Chopin/Paderewski Journey, at Merkin Hall

$20 senior and student tickets are available. Call the box office at 212 501 3330.

Embark on an unforgettable journey filled with emotions, as you experience the music of Fryderyk Chopin and Ignacy Paderewski, two world-famous pianists and composers. Ignacy Paderewski was an idol of the American audience, with popularity comparable to that of Elvis Presley and The Beatles. He was a friend to six U.S. presidents, a philanthropist supporting American composers, and one of the donors of the Washington Arch. The event will feature a short documentary film about Ignacy Paderewski in America.

The iconic music will be performed by outstanding pianists: Kate Liu, laureate of the Asia-Pacific Chopin Competition and bronze medalist of the Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland; Kamil Pacholec, finalist of the Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, second prize winner at the Paderewski International Piano Competition; Liana Paniyeva, winner of the George Gershwin International Piano Competition and the American Prize 2021.

Zadanie dofinansowane w ramach sprawowania opieki Senatu Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej nad Polonią i Polakami za granicą w 2024 roku.
