Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes returns to Carnegie Hall for his first recital since 2015. The program includes welcome selections by Janáček, Schubert, and Dvořák—three beloved composers whose works Andsnes has performed and recorded to significant critical and commercial success. Also featured is a piece by Vustin, whom Andsnes calls “relatively unknown outside of Russia,” but with “a strong personal voice which can be almost hauntingly hypnotic.”
