Esa-Pekka Salonen, conducts the Philharmonic in two of Beethoven’s most popular works: the Eroica Symphony, whose bold, majestic score ends on a note of triumph and exhilaration, and his Piano Concerto No. 3, a virtuosic showcase for Benjamin Grosvenor.
