About the program:
The program New York, New York!!! dedicated to the music that was composed in New York City and dedicated to NYC. It represents the celebration of the Salmagundi Art Club home city.

About the Performers:
Anna Keiserman is a New-York based pianist trained in Moscow, Russia, winner of numerous national and international competitions, has performed in Russia, Italy, Ukraine, and the US; adjunct faculty at Rutgers University, William Patterson University; doctorate candidate.
Inga Kashakasvili is a New York-based pianist from Tbilisi, Georgia. She has performed at major venues around the world, among them sold-out concert at Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Le Poisson Rouge, Steinway Hall, Merkin Hall at Kaufman Center, Lyric Opera (Chicago), Barbican Centre (London), Tradegar House (Newport, UK), Gewandhaus (Leipzig), Opera House and Tbilisi Center for Music and Culture (Georgia).

Paul Cohen is one of America’s most sought-after saxophonists for orchestral and chamber concerts and solo recitals. He has appeared as soloist with the San Francisco Symphony, Richmond Symphony, New Jersey Symphony, Charleston Symphony and Philharmonia Virtuosi. His many solo orchestra performances include works by Debussy, Creston, Ibert, Glazunov, Martin, Loeffler, Husa, Dahl, Still, Villa-Lobos, Tomasi, and Cowell. Paul has also performed with a broad range of orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera (NYC), American Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, Santa Fe Opera, New Jersey Symphony, Oregon Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Greenwich Symphony and the Charleston Symphony.
He has recorded three albums with the Cleveland Symphonic Winds and a compact disk of the music of Villa-Lobos with the Quintet of the Americas, as well as recordings with the Saxophone Sinfonia, Philharmonia Virtuosi, Paul Winter Consort, North-South Consonance, and the New Sousa Band.  This summer his latest CD, American Landscapes, was releasd featuring three centuries of American music for saxophone.  Earlier recordings include an environmental-jazz CD of solo improvisations and his solo CD, Vintage Saxophones Revisited, featuring the premiere recording of Cowell’s Hymn and Fuguing Tune #18.

Ksenia Antonova started her music education in Moscow State Academic College attached to Moscow State Conservatory named after Tchaikovsky and then continued in Brooklyn Conservatory, New York. In the course of her opera studies she had the opportunity to sing as Alice Ford in a production of Falstaff (G. Verdi) and Princess in L’infant et les sortilèges (M. Ravel) with Brooklyn Orchestra conducted by Richard Barrett.

In 2014-2015 Ksenia was a member of Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Opera Studio in Rome under the guidance of Renata Scotto. Later as a part of the Ensemble at Volgograd State Opera Theater Ksenia has sung Fiordiligi in “Cosi Fan Tutte”, Micaela in “Carmen”, Marfa in “Tsar’s Bride (N. Rimsky Korsakov), Sonya Gurvich in “The dawns here are quiet ” and more.
Ksenia recently celebrated her debut with Russian State Academic Symphony Orchestra “Svetlanov” in a production of “Ariadne of Naxos” conducted by Vladimir Jurowski inMoscow. She also just sang Brigitta with Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra in Moscow and Kazan, a role of Golden Cockerel (Rimsky-Korsakov) in Golden Cockerel with New Opera NYC.Her repertoire includes Tatyana in Eugene Onegin( Tchaikovsky) , Iolanta in Iolanta( P. Tchaikovsky), Mimi and Musetta in La Boheme( Puccini), Liu in Turandot ( Puccini), Donna Anna in Don Giovanni ( Mozart), Rusalka in Rusalka ( Dvorak), Pannochka in May’s Night ( Rimsky-Korsakov), Szymanowski’s Stabat Mater, Dvorak’s Requiem, romances and song cycles by Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky, Slonimsky, Rachmaninov and other. She regularly gives recitals in Russia and USA.
