Rebalance mind and soul in this hourlong lunchtime event combining meditation and live classical music. Let the sounds of clarinet, viola and piano weave through you as bright stars from the Israeli Chamber Project perform selections by composers including Bruch, Bach and Mozart.Beginner’s Ear is a communal listening experience unlike any other. A meditation teacher offers a guided 15-minute meditation. Out of this deep communal calm a 30-minute performance of live acoustic music unfolds. A brief reflection on the music and experience, in conversation with the performers and listeners, wraps up the event.

The meditation is led by Thomas Droge, founder of the Pathfinder Institute. The event is curated and moderated by Corinna da Fonseca-Wollheim, an award-winning critic and long-time contributor to the New York Times.

The performers are Tibi Cziger, clarinet; Assaff Weisman, piano, and Guy Ben-Zioni, viola.
