A critically acclaimed performance as cello soloist in Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with Daniel Barenboim and the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra in 2015 launched Kian Soltani’s international career. The 2017–2018 season was also eventful for him: He toured with Barenboim and the orchestra in Strauss’s Don Quixote, performed at the Salzburg Easter Festival, recorded his debut recital album, and more. For his Carnegie Hall recital debut, he performs a program rich in romance and riveting virtuosity.
