Pianist Kariné Poghosyan has released a CD of Khachaturian works on Naxos. Her 2018 schedule includes a solo tour in California, a performance of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Newburgh Symphony Orchestra, and her debut at Musikverein in Vienna. Ms. Poghosyan returns to Carnegie Hall to perform her “New York Connection” program at Zankel Hall. Her theme is inspired by composers who lived or worked in New York.
