Maestro Kurotaro Kurosaka returns with his Japan Kocarina Ensemble for a celebratory concert heralding the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. More than 100 musicians will fill the hall with the flute-like sounds of the kocarina, a wood version of the ocarina. New York City gospel singers will participate in a cross-cultural musical experience featuring both Japanese and American music. Vocalist Kanemi Yaguchi and dance and music students from two schools will also perform.
