“It’s Snowing” Program for Children at Tremont Library, Bronx (Site)

Stories about Winter – The Snow Child, The Polar Bear’s Mother & Snow! Children will learn the Miss Navida songs, I’m a Little Snowflake & If You Should Meet a Polar Bear, shake jingle bells & freeze into snow statues as Miss Navida plays the piano. Using group storytelling techniques & music everyone will help tell the Russian folktale The Snow Child, The Polar Bear’s Mother, an Inuit folktale and Uri Shulevitz’s Snow. Best for children ages 4 to 12 years old. Children under 6 must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.
