Background on the Artist
Pianist Gila Goldstein, who is known as a versatile musician, has captivated audiences around the world with her unique artistry and soulful interpretations.

Ms. Goldstein has performed to wide acclaim as a solo artist and a collaborative pianist throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Asia, Europe and Israel. Her most notable performances included the Berliner Symphoniker, Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion and Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, as well as recitals and concerts at Lincoln Center and Merkin Hall in New York City, Progetto Martha Argerich in Lugano, Beijing Concert Hall, Seoul National University, South Bank Center in London, Musée de Louvre in Paris, Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Temple Emanu-El in San Francisco, Gardner Museum in Boston, Symphony Hall in Chicago and the Tel Aviv Museum, among others. Gila Goldstein has recorded the complete piano works of Paul Ben-Haim on the Centaur label, recordings which received rave reviews. She is currently the chair of the piano department at Boston University and the director of the Young Artists Piano Program at Boston University Tanglewood Institute. She serves on the board of directors of the American Liszt Society and the Founder-President of its NY/NJ Chapter since 1992. She resides in both New York and Boston.
