The Brooklyn Metro Chamber Orchestra concludes its 15th season with a joyous celebration of music from the classical era at the Brooklyn Music School on Sunday afternoon, April 15th at 3pm. Maestro Nuzzo leads the ensemble in works by Rossini, Mozart and Beethoven.

Rossini’s overture to The Italian Girl in Algiers opens the program.

Virtuoso pianist and violinist Anita Chen performs Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 14 in A major. Ms. Chen, whose international career began when she was 12, brings her unique and youthful vision to this Mozart standard.

Our concert concludes with the light and joyous Symphony No. 2 by Beethoven. Considered by many to be the last great symphony of the Classical Era. Beethoven, despite the realization that he was going deaf, gives us a comedic glimpse into his own life.
